We have been having a lot of fun with our STEM classes over the last few weeks. These classes are designed to introduce and reinforce concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths for our students. Recent activities have included the “Rainbow Jar” which is a great way to learn about the varying densities of liquids in a fun and engaging manner.
Other recent activities included learning about simple Engineering principles by building the “Tallest Tower”. And then using a combination of Science, Engineering and Maths to create the “Parachute Egg Drop. By introducing the concepts of gravity, density and measurement in a practical way, children open up to new ideas and ways of putting their imagination to work.
